The Emmy Award winning reality TV show ‘Deadliest Catch’ will be hitting the airwaves on April 10 with its premiere episode of season eight and they have released a promo video about it.

The Discovery Channel show’s episode will also be the hundredth episode of the show and the producers would be doing something very new with this episode.

For the first time ever the cameras will show the homes of the Captains as they prepare to leave for their seafaring voyage. The promo video shows clips of this and some of the goodbyes are really emotional. It shows Edgar ever the poet talking about being a man and a dad and Hilstrands granddaughter’s emotional farewell.

Season eight with not have the Cornelia Marie so Jake and Josh both sons of Phil Harris have split up as they follow different ships. While Josh is now with the Time Bandit Jake joined the Northwestern.
