Relief Captain Bob is a 47 year old that resides in Sublimity Oregon. He is seen as a member of the old guard that believes in team work. When he and Scot were in another vessel, they clashed severally over Scots rise and advancement.

Now under Scot in the Seabrooke things have mellowed a bit but he is still seen as a reality check to Captain Scot who can at times be a bit over ambitious and he has not backed down from getting into the fray with him now and again.
